Her projects span museum design and independent films, arena-sized concerts and large-scale business meetings, exhibits and PR campaigns. MICHAEL P. NASH – CO-PRODUCER
Michael Nash is an Irish/American filmmaker who was recently an honored recipient of the Social Change Global Institute Filmmaker of the Year Award. MovieMaker Magazine named Nash one of the “Top 10 MovieMakers Of The Planet." Nash’s last film, the multi-award winning CLIMATE REFUGEES, had it's world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, and was noted by Robert Redford in the NY Times as "...an agent for social change." CLIMATE REFUGEES was the only film screened by the United Nations at the recent IIEA Copenhagen Climate Change Conference and Davos for world leaders and policymakers. Nash’s past narrative features include NEBRASKA and the critically acclaimed FUEL, which won top feature film honors internationally including two Grand Jury Awards.
JONATHAN MCHUGH - MUSIC SUPERVISOR/CO-PRODUCER
Jonathan McHugh is an independent producer and music supervisor who has produced/co-Produced many films and TV shows including JUSTIN BIEBER’S NEVER SAY NEVER, CROSSROADS, THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER SOLD, REPO THE GENETIC OPERA, FLYING BY, and the Discovery TV show BATTLEGROUND EARTH (Cedric The Entertainer & Ludacris.) He also co-wrote and produced the Lions Gate Film SNOOP DOGG’S HOOD OF HORROR staring Jason Alexander and Anson Mount. Currently he is co-producing the film PING PONG SUMMER starring Susan Sarandon, the Janis Joplin documentary with Academy award winning producer Alex Gibney and Academy Award nominated director Amy Berg (“West of Memphis.”), and the documentary ROOTED IN PEACE. He is making his directorial debut with the film RESTLESS SPIRIT and has recently directed a number of music videos featuring artists like Ivan Neville, John Payne and Alan Parsons. McHugh has music supervised over 50 feature films, and as Vice President of Soundtracks at New Line Cinema McHugh co-produced many platinum & gold soundtracks. JONATHAN ZALBEN – MUSIC BY
Jonathan Zalben studied violin and music composition at NYU, Yale, and Juilliard Pre-College. He has written music for films released by HBO, Lionsgate, Discovery, and Sony Pictures Classics. His film music has also been heard at Sundance, Berlin, SXSW, and Tribeca, and he has received awards for his multimedia work from the National Academy of Sciences, NYSCA, and ASCAP, among others. RUWANGA SAMATH – MUSIC BY
Ruwanga “Ru” Samath (Producer/ Composer/ Songwriter) founded The Bird Call Productions in 2003. Now at 27, Ru has been making music professionally for a decade. Born and raised in Sri Lanka to a very musical family, his mother was a pop star in his native country and occasionally plays eastern instruments on some of his songs.
Ru has become a “go-to guy” in creating custom songs and music in Film, Video Games, and TV. Some of his custom placements include: FAST FIVE (Universal Pictures), TED (Universal Pictures), THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER SOLD (Sony Pictures), TV shows: THE KING OF CLUBS, BATTLEGROUND EARTH: TOMMY LEE VS. LUDACRIS, & JERSEY SHORE
Ru has recently ventured into scoring with his collaboration alongside Jonathan Zalben on NATIONAL LAMPOON’S ANOTHER DIRTY MOVIE, and Executive Music Producing the music on the upcoming comedy NOT ANOTHER CELEBRITY MOVIE.
An avid gamer, Ru has created music for the video games The Agency (Sony), and the upcoming Sims: Next Generation (Electronic Arts).
Ru has recorded with stars like Flo-Rida, Kesha, & Kelly Rowland, and has done re-mixes for Britney Spears, Beyonce, & Norah Jones. Ru also produces and performs in the LA-based band, Mind the Gap, who have already had placements in many films and networks, including MTV, Playboy, Lionsgate & Discovery.
JOEY ALLY - ASSOCIATE PRODUCER
Joey Ally is a writer, director, actor, and producer (in that order) who splits her time between Los Angeles, New York, and Seattle (also in that order). Currently, in addition to other projects in development, Joey produces the web series HelLA (www.onlyinhella.com), and is finishing post-production on her short film HOLLYWOOD HAWAIIAN HOTEL. As a stage actor herself, and someone who knows firsthand the importance and impact of arts education, she is proud to be working on HOW I GOT OVER. Joey is a graduate of Amherst College.
